Ingredients
- 1 pound frozen edamame pods
- 3 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Rinse the frozen edamame pods under cool water and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Add the dried edamame pods to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the butter-sriracha mixture.
- Spread the coated edamame in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds, kosher salt, and red pepper flakes evenly over the edamame.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the pods are golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer the roasted edamame to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh sliced scallions.
