A creamy, indulgent vanilla milkshake made with premium vanilla ice cream, cold milk, and a touch of vanilla extract. Perfect for a quick dessert or refreshing treat on a warm day.
Ingredients
- 2 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk, cold
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.25 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup whipped cream
- 0.125 teaspoon vanilla bean specks
Steps
- Add 2 cups of vanilla ice cream, 1 cup of cold whole milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar (if desired) to a blender.
- Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with no visible ice cream chunks.
- Stop and check consistency—if too thick, add 2 tablespoons of milk and blend for 10 seconds; if too thin, add 1/4 cup more ice cream and blend briefly.
- Pour the milkshake evenly into two tall glasses, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Top each glass with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
- Sprinkle a pinch of vanilla bean specks or a few drops of vanilla extract over the whipped cream as garnish.
- Insert a long spoon or straw into each glass and serve immediately.
