Classic Vanilla Milkshake

A creamy, indulgent vanilla milkshake made with premium vanilla ice cream, cold milk, and a touch of vanilla extract. Perfect for a quick dessert or refreshing treat on a warm day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk, cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup whipped cream
  • 0.125 teaspoon vanilla bean specks

Steps

  1. Add 2 cups of vanilla ice cream, 1 cup of cold whole milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar (if desired) to a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with no visible ice cream chunks.
  3. Stop and check consistency—if too thick, add 2 tablespoons of milk and blend for 10 seconds; if too thin, add 1/4 cup more ice cream and blend briefly.
  4. Pour the milkshake evenly into two tall glasses, filling each about 3/4 full.
  5. Top each glass with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of vanilla bean specks or a few drops of vanilla extract over the whipped cream as garnish.
  7. Insert a long spoon or straw into each glass and serve immediately.
