Classic Turkey Club Sandwich

A triple-decker American favorite layered with sliced turkey, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and creamy mayo on toasted bread—a satisfying lunch that's ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 6 slice bread, toasted
  • 8 ounce turkey breast, sliced
  • 6 slice bacon, cooked and cooled
  • 2 lettuce, whole
  • 4 slice tomato, sliced
  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 slice cheese
  • 4 toothpicks

Steps

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, about 7-8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool completely.
  2. Toast all 6 bread slices in a toaster to light golden brown.
  3. Lay out all 6 toasted bread slices on a clean cutting board.
  4. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the top side of each slice.
  5. Layer the first sandwich: On the bottom slice, arrange half the turkey, then 1 lettuce leaf, then 2 tomato slices, then 1 slice of cheese, then 3 bacon slices. Top with the middle slice of bread.
  6. On the middle bread slice of the first sandwich, add the remaining turkey, another lettuce leaf, the remaining 2 tomato slices, another cheese slice, and 3 more bacon slices. Top with the final bread slice.
  7. Repeat the same layering process for the second sandwich using the remaining three bread slices and filling ingredients.
  8. Cut each sandwich diagonally from corner to corner, creating four triangular quarters.
  9. Insert 2 toothpicks into each sandwich to hold all three layers together securely.
  10. Arrange each sandwich on a plate with the points facing up and serve immediately.
