Classic Turkey Club Sandwich
EASY
A triple-decker American favorite layered with sliced turkey, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and creamy mayo on toasted bread—a satisfying lunch that's ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 6 slice bread, toasted
- 8 ounce turkey breast, sliced
- 6 slice bacon, cooked and cooled
- 2 lettuce, whole
- 4 slice tomato, sliced
- 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 slice cheese
- 4 toothpicks
Steps
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, about 7-8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool completely.
- Toast all 6 bread slices in a toaster to light golden brown.
- Lay out all 6 toasted bread slices on a clean cutting board.
- Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the top side of each slice.
- Layer the first sandwich: On the bottom slice, arrange half the turkey, then 1 lettuce leaf, then 2 tomato slices, then 1 slice of cheese, then 3 bacon slices. Top with the middle slice of bread.
- On the middle bread slice of the first sandwich, add the remaining turkey, another lettuce leaf, the remaining 2 tomato slices, another cheese slice, and 3 more bacon slices. Top with the final bread slice.
- Repeat the same layering process for the second sandwich using the remaining three bread slices and filling ingredients.
- Cut each sandwich diagonally from corner to corner, creating four triangular quarters.
- Insert 2 toothpicks into each sandwich to hold all three layers together securely.
- Arrange each sandwich on a plate with the points facing up and serve immediately.
