EASY
A make-ahead vegetarian breakfast of creamy oats soaked overnight in yogurt and milk, topped with fresh berries, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey. Perfect for busy mornings—just grab from the fridge and eat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 0.75 cup whole milk
- 0.25 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.125 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries
- 0.5 cup granola
- 1 tablespoon honey
Steps
- Divide the rolled oats evenly between two mason jars or glass containers (1/2 cup oats per jar).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, whole milk, 1/4 cup honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sea salt until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the yogurt mixture evenly over the oats in each jar, dividing it equally between the two containers.
- Stir each jar well to ensure the oats are fully submerged and the mixture is evenly distributed.
- Cover the jars tightly with lids and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight (the mixture can be refrigerated for up to 3 days).
- Remove jars from the refrigerator and stir well, adding a splash of milk if the mixture seems too thick.
- Top each jar with 1/2 cup fresh mixed berries and 1/4 cup granola.
- Drizzle 1/2 tablespoon honey over the top of each jar.
- Serve immediately in the jar or transfer to a bowl, adding extra berries and granola if desired.
