A make-ahead vegetarian breakfast of creamy oats soaked overnight in yogurt and milk, topped with fresh berries, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey. Perfect for busy mornings—just grab from the fridge and eat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 0.75 cup whole milk
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries
  • 0.5 cup granola
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Steps

  1. Divide the rolled oats evenly between two mason jars or glass containers (1/2 cup oats per jar).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, whole milk, 1/4 cup honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sea salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. Pour the yogurt mixture evenly over the oats in each jar, dividing it equally between the two containers.
  4. Stir each jar well to ensure the oats are fully submerged and the mixture is evenly distributed.
  5. Cover the jars tightly with lids and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight (the mixture can be refrigerated for up to 3 days).
  6. Remove jars from the refrigerator and stir well, adding a splash of milk if the mixture seems too thick.
  7. Top each jar with 1/2 cup fresh mixed berries and 1/4 cup granola.
  8. Drizzle 1/2 tablespoon honey over the top of each jar.
  9. Serve immediately in the jar or transfer to a bowl, adding extra berries and granola if desired.
